Course Objectives

To help students to understand:

  1. The origin and the development of mission studies
  2. The missiological foundation of the Bible
  3. The contextual and methodological issues of Mission Studies
  4. A comprehensive approach to mission based on biblical writings
  5. The various practices of mission about the changing global and contextual realities
  6. To help students to integrate their knowledge of history, missions and missiological thought as it relates to practical issues facing the contemporary Church throughout the world.
