New Testament Greek Advanced
BD II, Semester 1, 2 Credit Hours, Senate Paper (Optional)

I. Course Objectives

• To equip students with further basic skills to read and understand the New Testament in Greek Language
• To continue developing Greek New Testament vocabulary, grammatical and translational skills
• To provide a starting point for developing exegetical, hermeneutical and expository skills.

II. Course Requirements:

• Each student is required to possess the prescribed textbook
• Regular class attendance
• Complete the exercises and memorize the vocabulary at the end of each lesson
• Pass in the consecutive class tests and the final examination.
• Final Examination: 100%

III. Course Outline

1. Lessons 23 to 44 from The Elements of New Testament Greek.
2. Translation of selected passages from I John 1:5-10, 2:7-11, 4:7-12, 5:18-21
